How does couples counseling work at This LoveWorks?
This LoveWorks is offering therapy via in-person and telehealth at this time.
Diagnostic Appointments
Your first appointment as a couple will be together so that Marianne can understand what you would like to get out of therapy. After the first appointment, you will have an individual appointment each with the therapist. The three initial appointments are each 50 minutes long. Marianne will use these appointments to determine your therapy plan moving forward.
Ongoing Care
Once all of the intake paperwork is complete we will schedule ongoing appointments according to your care plan. It is important to schedule for days/times that work best for you and your partner. This LoveWorks schedules client slots from Tuesday – Thursday, 9:00am – 3:00pm. Please understand that our schedule fills quickly and we will do our best to get you the next available appointment.
Intake Paperwork
After you and your partner complete your diagnostic appointments, Marianne will use the information gathered to determine your therapy plan. If you decide to move forward into treatment you and your partner will be sent intake forms via TheraNest. Please read the practice policies and complete the paperwork as soon as possible.
Insurance & Payment
Most medical insurance companies provide coverage for Licensed Mental Health Counselors. This LoveWorks is only in-network with Premera and its affiliated Networks and will bill those insurance companies. For a better understanding of what is required regarding insurance and payment go here .
Workshops, Retreats, and Courses
This LoveWorks offers in-person (COVID-19 dependant) and online workshops, retreats and online webinar series’ for couples in all stages of their relationship. These workshops and retreats are scheduled on an on-demand need. If you are interested in attending please go to the link below to see more details.
